Welcome to the Regional Center of South Florida

Our Regional Center was founded and is managed by an experienced team of professionals with significant EB-5 experience dating to the inception of the EB-5 program in 1991.  Our team has witnessed firsthand the development and growth of the EB-5 program in general and the Regional Center Pilot Program in particular.  From its early beginnings to the present, we have been involved and have gained substantial experience and knowledge with all aspects of the EB-5 program.  We have more than 80 years of collective experience in the fields of EB-5 immigration, corporate and securities law, investment banking, private equity and Fortune 500 CEO experience. Combined with our global reach, fully integrated infrastructure and local market knowledge, our professionals have the unrivaled experience to be your EB-5 solution.

EB-5 Immigrant Investment Opportunity

It is our experience that a successful EB-5 project begins with our Regional Center’s selection process. We select EB-5 projects that in our experience will be well received by immigrant investors. As an independent Regional Center, our legal, financial and operational due diligence and EB-5 project selection process is not subject to conflicts of interest. With approval to engage in all of Florida’s key industries we have the distinct advantage of reviewing and selecting from superior opportunities that demonstrate the characteristics of a successful EB-5 project. In making a selection, we believe that our main goal is to ensure that the objectives of the immigrant investors and the EB-5 program are met. We accomplish this by selecting EB-5 projects that are located within a Targeted Employment Areas, that are not heavily reliant on EB-5 funds, that can demonstrate the financing necessary to complete the EB-5 project has been obtained, that the job creation will be completed on a timely basis and result in more new net jobs than needed per immigrant investor, that immigrant investors will not only obtain the conditional Green Card but also the permanent Green Card, that the terms and conditions of the EB-5 financing provide collateral and security interests that adequately protect the immigrant investors, that provide a reasonable ROI and that the full-face value of the principal invested by the immigrant investors will be returned upon maturity of the EB-5 financing. This approach has served us well.

Job Creation

The EB-5 program requires the creation of 10 direct or indirect full-time jobs per immigrant investor. Our Regional Center only works with EB-5 projects that create, in a timely manner, more than 12 or more direct or indirect jobs per immigrant investor. We rely on the RIMS II input-output employment modeling system to calculate indirect job creation. We have extensive experience with RIMS II and its Direct Hire and Expenditure Models. We monitor job creation every step of the way and keep our immigrant investors routinely informed on the progress of EB-5 projects.

Benefits of Green Card

The Green Card, or lawful permanent resident status, confers many benefits including most legal rights under U.S. law, except the right to vote, which is available only to U.S. citizens. Although the EB-5 program initially grants conditional Green Cards valid for two years only, successful EB-5 projects lead to permanent Green Cards. With the exception of the two-year expiry of the conditional Green Card, the rights conferred by the conditional and permanent Green Card are virtually the same. Your spouse and unmarried children under 21 are also eligible to receive a conditional Green Card and obtain the permanent Green Card. All permanent Green Card holders are eligible to apply for naturalized U.S. citizenship should they wish but there is no obligation to do so. The ability to enter and leave the U.S. without restrictions is among one of the favored benefits of the Green Card. Green Card holders do not complete the I-94 and do not have to worry about the expiration of authorized stay. Green Card holders can live and work anywhere in the U.S. and will also benefit from many financial advantages. Some of these are lower tuition expenses where the savings can be substantial. The cost of obtaining a mortgage, life, health and auto insurance will also be lower. If a permanent Green Card holder decides to return home and abandon the Green Card, their family members can keep their Green Cards and continue to live, work and study in the U.S.
